OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH

A Respirator Medical Evaluation Questionnaire is required by OSHA to be administered to any employees who use a respirator at work. Although a respirator is used to protect employees, a respirator could put an employee with health conditions at increased risk.

Proxima's industry-leading questionnaire and review service provide a quick and hassle-free way to evaluate your employees. Pair the evaluation with our Health Surveillance Questionnaire for Ground Cannabis Dust and our Population Analysis service for unmatched insight into the health of your workforce.

Proxima offers online health surveillance for the following hazards as part of an employer's larger medical surveillance program:

  • GCD (Ground Cannabis Dust)

  • LAA (Lab Animal Allergy, coming soon)

GCD is a recognized sensitizer and asthmagen, meaning it has the potential to induce allergic symptoms and cause or exacerbate asthma. Once a worker becomes sensitized (allergic) to GCD, subsequent exposure may trigger typical allergy symptoms such as red, watery eyes, sneezing, a runny nose, and rashes. Occupational Asthma, a potential outcome of sustained exposure to airborne GCD in sensitized individuals, can be a chronic, debilitating, and lethal condition.

Proxima is proud to offer an online Medical Surveillance Questionnaire designed for the Cannabis industry, specifically for Ground Cannabis Dust (GCD). The questionnaire can be administered by itself or with our Respirator Evaluation Questionnaire.

Health
Surveillance

Health Screening tools like our Medical Surveillance Questionnaire and Respirator Evaluation are part of the larger process of proactive Employee Health Surveillance.

Once your employees complete their health history questionnaires, our Chief Medical Officer can create a Population Health Analysis to provide your organization with valuable workforce health information like condition prevalence and employee wellness trends.
